The Challenge:
Food Rescue Hero is a powerful platform with a big mission, rescuing surplus food and redistributing it efficiently using a volunteer-powered network. But their offering includes a lot of moving parts: logistics automation, donor tracking, compliance, mobile UX, and more. They needed a video that could communicate all of this quickly and clearly to potential users, funders, and partners.

We started by mapping out the emotional core of the story, ending food waste at the community level, and pairing it with the functional benefits of the platform.

From the ground up, we crafted a story-first script with clarity at its core. We designed custom 2D animations to align with the brand's established look and feel. We handled voiceover casting and direction, ensuring the delivery matched the tone of the message. Music and sound design were selected to match the energy and pace of the visuals. The final product was designed for flexibility across multiple use cases; from the homepage and social media to sales demos and investor decks.

Results & Impact

While results are ongoing, Food Rescue Hero is now using this video in new partner onboarding, fundraising presentations, and throughout their website. Early signs show that the video is helping to reduce bounce rates on key pages and is strengthening engagement during sales conversations. Most importantly, it gives anyone, from a volunteer to a non-profit manager; a clear, quick understanding of what the platform does and how to get involved.
